Having worked in the construction industry most of my life, wood has always been an integral part of it.
While recently building a new house I found myself with a surplus of seasoned European larch. Fortunately,
being able to plane it transformed these boards into beautiful pieces of wood. Finding some old designs I set out to make my
first traditional stool – simple but practical. Everything else followed, happily with some commissions!
As most of the items are free from varnish, paint or stains the name of Naked Furniture was appropriate.
They are presented highly sanded form and very tactile to the touch.
Joining Mull Makers gave me an opportunity to share my work with a wider public.
